Today will be our first day shooting, we will be going outside shortly. But first.....
I'd like you to do the following:
1) Check your blog for comments from me. Correct anything that needs to be corrected.
2) Finish the iphoto work from Wednesday, i.e. cropping the 3 photos in 2 different ways to show the rule of thirds.
3) While you're waiting for our lesson to begin, use Google Image search to find 2 photos that DON'T follow the "Rule of Thirds". Avoid "head shots" or photos that simply have one object in the center of the frame (those are too obvious). Please limit your search to photos that are Larger than 1024x768. You can set this option on the left side-bar of the Google Image Search page.
4) Look up a tutorial on using the Canon PowerShot SX150 IS. These are the cameras we will be using this year and they have lots of possibilities.
