Hello Comm-Techies and happy Friday!!

        Today we don't have access to a room that is dark enough for light painting, so we'll be going over some new things today including computer programming and careers in communciations technology.

BEFORE THE PRESENTATION

Before the presentation, meet with your group and go through the photos you have taken in the last few classes. Reflect and do a mid-critique on your photos, please answer the following questions:

1. How many photos has your group completed that are "usable"?

2. Are these photos as successful as you have hoped??? Why or why not?

3. What could improve your photos?

4. Take 1 of the photos, and edit it using iphoto (if you don't have access to iphoto, speak with me). Try adjusting the constrast and exposure in the photo.

AFTER THE LESSON

Please answer the following,

1. What careers have you considered within computers/ communications technology??? (Think communications, programming, video, photography, journalism, graphic design, web design, video game design, marketing, etc. )

2. Choose one field of study, and research 3 college or university programs in Ontario that you would consider applying to and answer the following:
                       1.What is the name of the school and title of program?
                       2. How many years is the program, and what types of courses would you take?
                       3. Are there special requirements for entry into program? (i.e. marks, portfolio, computer/art       classes?)
                      4. What is the price for tutition per year?
