At the beginning of class today, we will have a presentation by Alex, Bethany, and Jacob. Next, we will be introduced to the scratch website. After this we will get some practise debugging - that is, finding errors in our code and fixing them.
I will demonstrate the scratch website and you are required to make your own account. If you already have one from another year, you can use it.
You will work individually to complete the handout provided. Both partners need to hand in a completed assignment.
To download the programs:
1. Go to the Scratch website (www.scratch.mit.edu) and login to our account:
username: rockway2012
password: rockway
2. Click on "my stuff" to see the five debug programs.
3. Click on debug_1_0. Once it opens in your browser, click "Download this Project".
Work individually to fix the 5 programs. Record your solution on your assignment sheet and submit it at the end of class. If you finish early, you can continue improving projects from last class or working on your independent project.
